Snow News from Woods Hole
In the wee hours of the morning on Tuesday, January 16th, Woods Hole welcomed its first “official” three-inch sheet of snow. This winter has been unseasonably warm and Jack Frost has been noticeably skipping Woods Hole on its New England visits. Today, that changed when the village woke up to a blanket of wintery white left from Mr Frost’s brief visit.
The morning streets were rather quiet as most remained indoors. Enjoying that cup of Pie in the Sky coffee while delighting in calm scenery perhaps?

Larry the Lobster (pictured below) of the Quicks Hole Taqueria is no stranger to the cold.
As the morning progressed, these white flakes transitioned to rain making way for uncomplicated midmorning travel.
Though brief, one can always appreciate snow on the beach, with white as far as the eye can see.
