Amanda has been working at the inn for over six years, managing it for the last three.

What is the best part of the job? Our guests are my favorite part of this job. Meeting such interesting, warm, happy people from all over the word makes it not only a fun place to work but creates a great positive atmosphere.

What is your favorite breakfast item at Woods Hole Inn? I’m a dessert person, so the maple bars are my favorite. In a close second, the home made quiche because it is some of the best I have ever had.

What is your favorite place on Cape Cod or the islands?  I love the beach. I like taking short boat trips to the surrounding island beaches.  We are lucky to have a boat to access to these sandy island beaches — so remote that they are usually empty which is amazing.

What is your biggest accomplishment? Mothering two healthy, beautiful children.

Tell us a fun fact about yourself.  I love to make my own jewelry.

What is the best place you have traveled so far?  St. John in the Caribbean. Such a beautiful island.  In summer, Woods Hole’s Gulf Stream waters remind me of my favorite place.
