Check in Friday to your room at the Woods Hole Inn. Saturday awake refreshed and head down to breakfast in our kitchen to get your day started off right. Enjoy the day either heading over to Martha's Vineyard or exploring Woods Hole and Falmouth. Saturday evening will begin in the cozy ambiance of the Quicks Hole Taverns waterfront setting at 6 PM and guests will be greeted by their Tavern host for the evening. Following shortly after will be a bright and bold menu designed by Chef Nat Summerton. Each of the four courses will be served with a carefully selected rosé wine to help enhance the dining experience. After dinner the night is yours!
Rosé Wine Dinner Menu:
First: Scallop Carpaccio paired with “Studio” by Miraval Méditerranée Rosé, Provence, France
Freshly harvested scallops, baby heirloom tomatoes, basil, shallots, cracked pepper and EVOO
Second: Watermelon and Cucumber Salad paired with Frog’s Leap Rosé, Mendocino California
Shaved English cucumber, slivers of sweet watermelon, feta cheese, red onion, chopped pistachios and a balsamic reduction
Third: Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb paired with Château de Trinquevedel Tavel Rosé, Rhône Valley, France
Slow roasted-braised rack of lamb on a parsnip puree with sauteed broccolini with braised cippolini onions & blackberry peach chutney
Fourth: Quicks Hole Strawberry Panna Cotta with hazelnuts and lemon pearls paired with Domaine Chandon Sparkling Rosé, California
