Stevens Doherty has been our jack of all trades here at the Woods Hole Inn for the past several years. Stevens is a breakfast cook, housekeeper and valet during the summer, so one day he might park your car, the next he might serve you breakfast but always with a big ol’ “Good Morning” smile. “My first role here is to go above and beyond for our guests,” which he does on a constant basis!
What is the best part of the job? Interacting with people is the best part of the job. I love seeing that look on their face when you go above and beyond.
What is your favorite breakfast item at Woods Hole Inn? It has got to be the quiches, specifically the bacon.
What is your biggest accomplishment? My son.
What is your favorite place on Cape Cod or the islands? Lower Cape beaches, like Eastham and Wellfleet with my son, or any golf course.
Fun Fact! Steve used to be a firefighter in New Hampshire.
What is the best place you have traveled so far and why? Probably Paris. It is just beautiful – the museums, the artwork, the people.
