At Woods Hole Inn, we take accessibility seriously. The Inn itself is an accessible and friendly place, welcoming all to come relax and vacation. Moreover, we strive to provide an excellent online experience for all our guests – including those with sight, hearing, and other disabilities. To accomplish this, we are committed to requirements of the WCAG 2.1 checklist, levels A and AA of conformance standards. Our Website is designed and developed with these guidelines in mind. We test our website to ensure that it is usable by guests who use assistive technology. We have a corporate accessibility plan in place that ensures we are always working to make the website as good as it can be for people with visual or motor impairment. The following outlines our action plan: We've purchased The Accessibility Suite for WordPress, a plugin that scans our site to identify compliance issues. Our agency of record has been retained to run regular scans with that plugin and to make the appropriate updates to our site over time. We've hired an independent accessibility agency to audit our website and remediate issues as they relate to WCAG 2.1 NOTE: We use an online booking software. We don't manage or control the software. Rather, it's embedded on our site. Think Reservations also strives for accessibility and states that their platform is meeting WCAG 2.1 standards as well.
