The MBL Club’s annual Fourth of July Parade is a one-of-a-kind festivity for and by the MBL and greater Woods Hole community. All ages are welcome to watch or participate. Parade goers and watchers fill the tiny streets of Woods Hole for the noontime start. (The parade in its entirety lasts about 15-20 minutes.) Afterwards, free watermelon is provided by the MBL Club at the Woods Hole Waterfront Park.

The Buzzards Bay Discovery Center in the heart of Woods Hole village is stocked with interactive exhibits that excite locals and visitors, adults and children alike. Discover Buzzards Bay animals hands-on in the touch tank, learn about Buzzards Bay and the Coalition through interactive exhibits, explore the center with a scavenger hunt, and check out the daily family activities, all while learning how to make a difference in keeping Buzzards Bay healthy for all of us to enjoy. The Buzzards Bay Discovery Center has something for everyone! The Buzzards Bay Coalition is a membership-supported non-profit organization dedicated to the restoration, protection and sustainable use and enjoyment of our irreplaceable Bay and its watershed. Free and open to the public.
