THE FINE PRINT

Rates: $99 to $325 (based on the season) per night based on a double occupancy.  We will be flexible about this if you will understand that more people in the building means more cleaning, more hot coffee, more questions...so we do charge a little extra for additional occupancy beyond the stated numbers.  Call us for details and to consult re the size of the room.

Breakfast. All rates include a continental breakfast (served from 8 am to 10 am).  Read our reviews -- breakfast rocks at the Woods Hole Inn (thanks Sara!)

Local Tax. All room rates subject to 9.7% local and state lodging tax. Yup, we collect it and pass it along to Uncle Deval.

Minimum Stay.  A two night minimum stay is requested for the Falmouth Road Race weekend. 

Deposits and Payment. A room deposit of 50% of the total stay will guarantee your reservation; balance is due at check-in. Mastercard and Visa, and travelers checks accepted.

Cancellation. Reservations canceled 14 days or more in advance of arrival date will be refunded in full with a $25 processing fee per room. Cancellations made within 14 days of arrival will be refunded based on the ability to rent the canceled room(s) and a $25 processing fee per room.  Early departures will be refunded on the same basis, if the room is re-rented and with a $25 processing fee.

Arrival/Departure. Check out is at 11 am. Check in is 3 pm. Check in after 9 PM is by prior arrangement only. Late check-ins with no prior arrangement will be assessed a late check in fee.

Smoke Free. The Inn is a historic building, so it will come as no shock to you that we do not allow smoking of any kind inside or anywhere on the grounds for the safety and health of our guests. 

Fire Safety.  The Inn has been substantially upgraded and has a fire sprinkler system in all guest areas. That's right, state-of-the-art fire safety stuff which helps all of us sleep soundly at night.

Pets. We had so many people ask us this question that we decided to dedicate a room to travelers with pets!  So yes, if you book early we have a great new space that has it's own entrance and a private bath where we allow friendly and well-behaved pets.  The rest of the inn we do not allow pets (with the notable exception of handicapped assistance dogs).

Children.  Well supervised children are welcome.  The Inn is appropriate for children aged six (6) and older.  Children younger than six (6) will be accepted with a security deposit of $100 per child.  Yes, we know your kids.

Quiet. Management reserves all rights to ensure the quiet enjoyment of the Inn by all of our guests.  You get that, right?

Amenities. A really good continental breakfast, private bath with shower, free wireless internet access, flat screen color TV with DVD player, ipod docking station, air conditioning, luxury cotton towels, high thread count cotton sheets, complimentary beach cruiser bikes, free parking...does that work for you?

Bicycles. Bicycles are provided complimentary to our guests on a first-come, first serve basis.  We recommend helmets and ask you to sign a release (that's just good common sense:).

Parking. The center of Woods Hole can be a challenging place to park. On-site parking is provided for one car per room.  Parking check out is at 11 am.  Additional parking will be considered on a first-come, first-serve basis at a market daily rate.

Eco-Efforts. We have renovated the building re-using whatever materials possible and used only green paints; we replaced old appliances with new energy efficient appliances; we use compact fluorescent bulbs in many places; we instituted a building-wide recycling and waste stream management policy; we try to keep laundry to a minimum with guest assistance and use the line to dry sheets when possible; we use local handmade soaps artisan crafted here in Woods Hole; we use local produce and suppliers both for breakfast and in our restaurant; we use biodegradable cleaners many of which we make on-site; we ask our staff to walk or bicycle to work; we offer air conditioning in July and August with all-new energy efficient units. Our goal is to set the highest standard for service and style, while impacting the earth as little as possible. We welcome a dialogue about this with our guests as we are always looking to learn, grow and improve.

Privacy Policy. When you contact the Woods Hole Inn through our web site, we may require personal contact information, such as your name, mailing address, phone number and credit card information so we can provide you with the services you have requested. Your name and contact information will not be added to any mailing lists besides our own without your prior knowledge or expressed permission. You may ask to be removed from our mailing list at any time by contacting us at woodsholeinn@gmail.com. In addition, protecting your privacy is very important to us. We have established physical and electronic safeguards to our physical premises and electronic procedures to safeguard and protect against the unauthorized access of personal information.
